Kindergarten Orientation

Students and families of kindergarteners are invited to join us at Newtown Elementary for Kindergarten Orientation and an opportunity to tour the school, meet some of our staff (including our Kindergarten teachers), and gain important information about the upcoming school year. The children will also have a chance to take a short bus ride which will hopefully help to ease some of the anxious feelings about beginning the year. Families are encouraged to bring their school supplies on this day to drop off with their child’s teacher.
Kindergarten teachers will not be available as part of the Open House Meet and Greet in the afternoon.
