DESCRIPTION:It’s just about that time! Here’s your one stop spot for all events leading up to the big day; the First Day of School! \nBe sure to mark your calendars for these events: \n\n8/26 9:00-10:30am: Kindergarten Orientation\n\nCome meet Ms. Hughes\, tour the school PLUS the kids will have a chance to take a short bus ride which will hopefully help to ease some of the anxious feelings about beginning the year. *Families are encouraged to bring their school supplies on this day to drop off with their teacher*\n\n\n8/29 1:30-2:30pm: New Student Orientation:\n\nThis session will provide families that are NEW to Newtown Elementary a chance to get information\, see the building\, and ask questions\n\n\n8/29 2:30-3:30pm NES Open House Meet & Greet:\n\nSchool-wide Meet and Greet for Grades 1-6. Visit classrooms\, meet the teachers & drop off their supplies if they wish. For those families that took advantage of the 1st Day School Supply order\, your child’s items will already be waiting in their classroom
